Turkish classical music reaches audience through personal effort:

Sazlar Sohbette II, Eylül and Hisari…

Ömer Bildik and Burak Kaynarca are two instructors at Kocatepe University's State Conservatory Classical Turkish Music department in Afyonkarahisar. They recorded three albums in a studio they established with their own resources.

Bildik and Kaynarca combined their years of experience in their fields and founded the BilKay Sound Recording Studio in 2006. More information about the studio can be obtained from www.studyobilkay.com.

Melodies that appeal to the senses with the magic of classical Turkish music are reproduced without the support of sponsorship and distributed free-of-charge. The CDs contain multi media. It is possible to find on a computer the lyrics to the works on the CDs, information about their composers, their notes that were rewritten by the group and details about how they are played. Those who do not use computers can also listen to the CD just like listening to any music CD.

Is it not a beautiful example that a lot can be accomplished with personal efforts?
